Fire Damage Home
The main floor, roof, and basement were severely damaged by smoke and water. Prior to the fire, the house had undergone several room additions over the years, and they were easily noticeable as add-ons.
We demolished the house down to the floor, leaving most of the basement framing and about 1/3rd of the old main floor framing. We rebuilt the house, changing the original entry layout and raising the ceiling height to a 9 ft. minimum.
We constructed a new roof with a steeper pitch in order to integrate the new, functional floor plan. The living room has an expansive vaulted ceiling with many windows. Additional features include sculptured drywall, cove lighting, custom cabinetry and millwork, slab stone counters, and hardwood flooring. We also created a front-facing walkout for the basement. At the rear of the home, we built a covered patio with 2o’ peak and a full outdoor kitchen. We constructed a new, 3-car garage with extra deep bays, 10′ ceilings, and accessible storage above. Additional exterior work includes beautiful open patios. refinished driveway, sprinkler system, and landscaping.
Basement Remodel
The owner had a standard basement that was used for the kids to play and for storage. The kids were growing up, and the owners wanted more living space. We began by installing 3 new egress windows. We built a media room and custom entertainment center, fireplace and wet bar, a bedroom, and a new bathroom with stone flooring, vanity, and shower surround. We also rebuilt the staircase walls to make them more open. The job turned out beautifully, and now everyone wants to use the basement.
Wellshire Golf Course Home
The customer’s architect designed a plan that involved a large addition for an all-new kitchen, remodeled dining room, and family room. The living room had the existing fireplace covered in cold-rolled steel. We installed 6-ply Baltic birch custom cabinets, which were replaced with custom laminate cabinets and granite, Corian, and wood tops. The new media room looks out onto a large yard, golf course, and private tennis court. There is a see-through two-sided gas log fireplace that can be enjoyed from the family room or the new outdoor covered patio.
The covered patio has large, sliding, custom metal shutters to block strong afternoon sun if needed, or they can open to enjoy the sunshine and golf course views. We applied stucco to update the exterior of the home.
The tennis court was rebuilt with a post-tension slab foundation and clay court overlay. We also landscaped the back yard with a new sprinkler system and fencing.
Bathroom Remodel
This bathroom remodel features a free-standing tub and an all-glass shower door enclosure for the rain head shower. The frosted glass door keeps the privy private. The cabinets are custom-built cherrywood.
Backyard Pergola
The owner wanted to add an outdoor pergola with a fireplace to create an outdoor living space for relaxing and entertaining. We designed the all-metal, powder-coated steel framing so that there would be no maintenance issues. We installed lighting in the concrete that was free formed in place. The fire rises from a bed of glass beads with a clear glass front screen.
Master Bedroom & Closet
This is a 1940s house, original to the Hilltop area, that was gutted, and the hip roof was removed. The roof was replaced with a seven-level flat roof that overhangs much of the house now. There is steel paneling on the exterior of the home and a steel-paneled garage door. Wooden beams were added to the ceiling to give dimension and depth. The dome was updated to improve the aesthetics and structural integrity. The powder room was updated also.
Bar Remodel
Client collects tequila and with over 1000 bottles this job called for a strong shelf system. The steel bracket system allowed for a faux floating shelf look to support the weight of all the bottles. New flooring was installed and a fireplace makeover done here as well.
Downtown Loft
The stairs on this project were quite complicated. Everything had to be taken to the top floor of this downtown building with a crane. The stairs and loft all have glass railings.

Castle Pines House
Extensive work was done on this home, including a wet bar, bathroom, and guest bedroom. Snowboards were used as shelving in the kids’ study area in the basement. The linear fireplace was placed in 3X3 foot marble tiles for a classic look. The kitchen counter is a curved piece of fossilized limestone. The curved shape made the installation quite difficult. There is a lot of geometry involved. The oversized six-foot sink in the kitchen island has two faucets. Structural work was required to remove the wall between the kitchen and family rooms. A steel beam was installed and hidden in the ceiling to support the exposed decorative trusses in the living room.
Wazee Loft
The wall behind the fireplace is done in all reclaimed wood from railroad cars, and the surround is done in steel. The fireplace is completed with a floating stone hearth with unseen steel supports. Some work was done in the existing kitchen. All new custom-built-ins went in the master closet.
Bonnie Brae House
This was a brand-new custom home rebuild in Bonnie Brae, completed in 10 months. We rebuilt the turret and completed it with a copper roof, re-bricked the façade, copper roof over the portico, and a brick wall enclosing the front yard.
